Today, The Managing Director, Mr. Romano Mwito, spearheaded a crucial meeting with CAS consultants tasked with formulating a Bankable Proposal for projects funded under the Water Services Trust Fund (WSTF) Aid on Delivery program (AOD).Under the visionary leadership of Her Excellency Bishop Kawira Mwangaza, Meru County Rural Water and Sanitation Services Company Ltd has been diligently working on proposals to address the water challenges in Meru County. We’re thrilled to share that our efforts have borne fruit, with the successful development of the Muriri-Karumo Water Project.
This transformative initiative, set to be funded by KfW and the Government of Kenya, aims to provide piped water connections to over 3600 households. This milestone aligns seamlessly with the Governor’s manifesto and underscores our commitment to ensuring equitable access to clean water for all residents of Meru County.
We’re delighted to announce that our proposal is in its final stages, and development is poised to commence immediately. Together, we’re embarking on a journey towards a brighter, more sustainable future for our community.
